Current scans check ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity. The engine names are shown in your results so you can see the scope of each answer.
Google AI Overviews are not included in new scans at this time.
What a scan records
A completed scan keeps the saved question text, selected engine, date, profile scope, geography where applicable, returned answer, and cited public sources when available. Missing or failed answers are shown as unmeasured, not as a negative finding.
Sampling limits
A Gistful scan is a controlled test of the saved questions and selected scope. It is not a potential client’s personalized consumer session. AI systems can produce different answers for the same question at another time, location, conversation, or account context.
The result is useful evidence to inspect, not a promise that every person will receive the same answer.
What Gistful does not claim
Gistful is not a measure of competence, professional quality, reputation, or future results.
- A mention is not automatically a recommendation.
- An absence in one answer does not prove that you are unknown or unqualified.
- A cited source can support identity or context without proving expertise.
- Results can vary by question, date, geography, engine, and available public information.
Comparable rescans
Gistful compares scans only when their saved question set, methodology, and relevant scope match. If the scope changes, the results remain useful, but they should not be read as a direct before-and-after trend.
